Working with children and families is my absolute favorite part of photography! Capturing those beautiful moments between parent and child brings me such delight; whether it’s the biggest smiles of pure joy or the cutest little sad face with tear stained cheeks and all. Having my own children to dote over makes me even more aware of how important it is to create lasting visual memories of these precious, yet fleeting, moments.

So, when it came time to photograph Noah Kai’s One-Year Baby Portrait, I was ecstatic! I loved working with his parents, Melissa and Jeremy, for Noah’s 6-Month Baby Portrait last year and was truly looking forward to working with them again this year. This time, we decided to do their Family & Baby Portrait Session at the beach by their home. It was a beautiful morning and Noah looked so grown up in his adorable little outfit. All I can say is:  my how quickly they grow…seriously! My own son, Kaiehu, is just a few days older than Noah and I love watching as they both grow into such handsome mini men.
